An Open Invitation to join a handful of Ladies who have met thru our Adventure here!!!
Our plans are to just continue the Fun that we had while we were in Chicago for the Senior Bachelor event.
Francesca aka La Dolce Vida and I discovered that the Universe spit us out within 5 days of one another in 1950, and therefore the two of us are turning 55 years young in that week.
What better reason for a party!!!!
Several other ladies have either had birthdays close and are still celebrating, ie: Lynn from Sacramento or are just wanting another excuse to get to know each other better and plan to meet in Chi-Town for more fun on Rush Street and downtown area.
I think Karen from Huston is on the list and of course there are several ladies in the area, Anita from Chicago, who has been helping with finding good deal on rooms, and Chandra, who lives close by and I may not have a comprehensive list, but it will be a Party for sure!!!
I was so thrilled to be able to change my little Blog this AM. I just wanted to make a place where people can come and let us know that you can join us!!
Yeah, I realize it is short notice, I do not have a place to stay as we speak, my friends there are possibly lining up a Condo or as last resort I will bring my trusty sleeping bag and pile in with some of the other Ladies!!!
Either way, there is fun to be had, if you have never seen downtown Chicago with Christmas Decorations, that is worth the trip in itself.
So, if anyone wants to post here, re: this trip, have at it!!
I will direct all the Ladies who have been talking to post their details here and anyone can ask questions.
I am not the Supreme Blog Hostess that you have grown accustomed to with Clickgirl and La Dolce Vida, but will check to make sure some of the others are answering any possible questions and that anyone interested in joining in will get a handle on the plans.
Hopefully, the other ladies who are planning to attend will pitch in with their e-mail addresses or will just communicate here to coordinate things.
Again, the handful of ladies that I am speaking of here are only the ones that happen to be talking, we welcome anyone else that wants to get involved, only I personally would remind everyone how sometimes coordinating group activities can run into some folks having differing ideas, and since Francesca did start this idea and I suggested Chicago, I think I will look to her to kinda call some shots with exactly where we might go, Anita is from there, as well and maybe we can get them together with their suggestions.
As long as we have fun together and I would not mind meeting some handsome men along the way, I'll be happy, happy, happy!!!!

Again, our Birthdays are just an excuse to get together, I think Lynn is still celebrating her's from a couple of weeks ago and certainly Francesca and I do not want any special treatment, Maybe just a toast to 55 more wonderful years!!!!

Hostels, in case we decide our messiness and our shananagans will not allow us to stay together, again. We were pretty wild roomates last time!!!
I better say that we had no Senior Bachelors or Almost Senior Bachelors in our room, before we get us a reputation.
And you will have to go to the Lounge to get some quite time.
I get it, you can put me in time out down in the Lounge and I will have Bloody-Mary's.
Miss Sunni from Lexington wrote me an e-mail and talked about me stopping by her if I drove, but I did not understand if she was still considering driving, she said it was 400mile trek!!!
I have not driven to Chicago since it took me 12hours and estimated time now is 9-9 1/2hrs.But, I am flying standby, so I really do not have a ETA (is up in the air),(I amaze myself at how clever I am sometimes)
I plan to take the train downtown, if it is pretty evident how to get to the Allerton(sp?) Crowne. I felt so proud to navigate around the city last time, like nothing had change in 37 years!!!!

Yep, I am around and just waiting for all you crazies to join me next weekend in Chicago.
If I remember correctly, from a past blog, Vanessa will be coming in on Saturday to just spend overnight or something like that so I hope she is able to hook up with all of you since I will only be in on Friday.
Heck, it may take all weekend to find each other......I am sure that you will find someplace to hang your hat. I wear mine.
Can't wait to see all of the rejects and leftovers from the SB. Life is only beginning for us now. What is this you are saying about a "romance" in the works for you? Pray, tell us more.......don't leave us now....the fun is only beginning!

I was out of town for work ... then out of town for Thanksgiving ... but just wanted to drop in to say how much I wish I could meet up with all of you in Chicago!! It sounds like such fun! Unfortunately, I have a vid shoot on Thursday - and then stuff scheduled for Saturday ... so can't make it out. But ... I'll be thinking about all of you and wishing I was there ... and waiting for pics to post!!! Please, please keep us posted ... and have lots and lots of fun for those of use who can't make it!

Maybe Pics by this afternoon, we have to go to '
Walgreen's and have Flowergirl's memory stick from her cool little digital camera put on disk so we cn upload, we always have these challenges with our equipment up here.
I am on a old computer at this hotel and have only scceeded om getting on line one time with my laptop, so far!!!
The city is fabulous this time of year, you will see!!!
And no problem meeting men when we are out in the evening, maybe we are not too bad looking lot together, and sometimes they just catch mine and Rachel's southern drawl and want to know "Where Ya'll From"????
Anita was telling about Rachel's tumble,but she is fine, It certainly has not slowed her down on the Dance Floor!!!That Girl can dance!!!!She even makes the guys who cannot dance look good.!!!
